The Vintage Ohio wine festival in Kirtland, Ohio occurs every August. It was rated the second best wine festival in the country by USA Today. At the festival, you can enjoy wine and gourmet food while listening to live music. Find more information on the Vintage Ohio Wine Festival here.

Debonne Vineyard, located in Madison, Ohio, is the “largest estate winery in Ohio” and has more than 175 acres of vines (Debonne 2014). Debonne was also the first winery in Ohio to open up a micro-brewery. Each year this winery makes over 85,000 gallons of wine (Debonne 2014). They produce a wide variety of wines but they are most well known for their Riesling and Ice Wine. Debonne Vineyard offers many events throughout the year including hot air balloon rides, an annual clambake/steak bake, winemaking classes, and a Halloween party. They also do what they call Woof Wednesdays which is a bring your dog night at the winery. The winery has live music and invites local dog shelters to join them. A portion of the profits of the night is donated to the dog shelter in attendance. Live entertainment is regularly offered at the winery.
